CAT has always been known for rugged phones (and of course, construction vehicles) and there won’t be any change soon. Hopefully, the company will saturate the market with more tough and reliable smartphones targeted not only for industrial and heavy-duty users but also for everyone. Caterpillar is a trusted name in making durable products and the phones being offered by the company are no different.

  1. Strange enough, both Verizon and CAT no longer have official pages for this product. They will probably change the name, completely withdraw it, or it’s just some temporary issue.

  2. I have this phone (3 Months) – generally like it – but the fact that it only has 8G of memory and does not have a setting to make the SD card the primary storage – makes this phone a technical pain and probably unusable for the typical phone user. Bad design!!! You cannot move most of the pre-installed apps to the card and if you are low on internal memory you cannot download any new apps. You have to “ROOT” your phone. You will have to perform manual moves of data etc… every time you are low on space absolutely absurd
