If the Android Wear smartwatch that you want for your next (or first) wearable, then the Moto 360 Sport may be the watch you’re looking for. And if you do most of your gadget shopping on the Google Store, you’re in luck as the sporty smartwatch is now available for purchase on the search giant’s online store. It may have less color options and it may have the same price, but still, it’s good news for a gadget to have more availability options.
The Moto 360 Sport has received generally favorable reviews, especially for those who weren’t that happy with how some of the wearables look. For the sportier personalities, this was a good smartwatch to get excited about. It has a 1.73-inch screen, protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and having a 360 x 325 resolution and a pixel density of 263ppi. Inside, you have a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU along with the Adreno 305 GPU, Snapdragon 400 SoC, a 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The smartwatch has a built-in GPS so it could track your activities, including distance traveled, how fast you were going, and how long you were working out. It also has an optical heart rate monitor to make sure you’re not overdoing your workouts. And its AnyLight hybrid display will make your device screen still visible even under the sunlight. You can submerge it in water up to 3 feet and for as long as 30 minutes, better than the original Moto 360.
The Moto 360 Sport is available only in black at the Google Store, and with other colors (orange and white) through the Moto store itself. You get free shipping when you shop through the former. But they both have the same price of $299.99.
