By now, you’re probably curious to know when you can get your hands on the BlackBerry Priv. We started the year with a rumor that T-Mobile would be launching it before January ends. The first Android-powered BlackBerry phone sold well last quarter and we learned that if things turn out better, the Canadian company will release a midrange Android device.
In the US, the Priv is available from AT&T and BlackBerry online. We know it will be available from Verizon and this week at the CES, BlackBerry finally confirmed that it will be ready from the carrier end of March. BlackBerry also announced the other companies that will carry the Priv in Europe and the US. T-Mobile will release the phone on January 26. Meanwhile in Europe, Vodafone UK will distribute the smartphone both for personal use and small businesses.
The BlackBerry Priv is now ready to ship within the UK. Pay only £9 per month on bundles starting at £49. For the enterprise, it’s cheaper at £7.50/month on bundles from £40.83. Other carriers offering the BlackBerry Priv in North America include TELUS, Bell, Rogers, and AT&T.
