Android Pay may have a number of rivals right now but more and more people are turning to this mobile payment service. In major markets around the world, there are a lot of ways to finalize transactions. Purchases can now be paid for by simply tapping your mobile phone on a terminal. With Android Pay, your smartphone need not be high-end or premium unlike Samsung Pay that is only available on the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 variants.

Android Pay only launched a few months ago but Google says there are millions now who have set it up on their devices. More establishments have also joined the bandwagon by accepting the idea of tap and pay. The Android Pay team continues to partner with more brands and companies so more customers can easily shop, tap, pay, and do some more shopping.

To make shopping more convenient not only in-store locations, Google plans to bring the payment method to more countries. Next year, Android Pay will be available in Australia. And soon mate, you can use Android Pay in popular stores like McDonald’s, Telstra, and 7-Eleven. The Android devs have started to partner with Westpac, ANZ, and other banks in Australia to bring the mobile payment service Down Under.

There is also a plan to bring Android Pay for in-app purchases for a faster and easier mobile shopping. If you notice the Android Pay logo within an app when you’re about to make a purchase, that means you can pay with Android Pay.

Android Pay is secure. Purchases in stores only need the consumer to tap and authenticate. As a special promo this season, you can use Android Pay in some stores and get discounts. Some brands that offer promos and savings include Doordash, Fancy, Handy, Hotel Tonight, Houzz, Instacart, Jackthreads, Jet.com, Lyft, OpenTabl, ParkWhiz, Printiculat, SpotHero, Spring, Vinted, and Wish.
