December is not just a time for Christmas celebrations, gifts, and eating a lot. It is also a time to remember the year that was and to go through all the pop culture best of lists and see if they agree with yours or to check if you missed something. Music-wise, Spotify is here to help you relive all the important things that happened in 2015 through custom playlists and to help you create your very own year in music highlights.

If you go to spotify.com/2015 and you log in to your Spotify account, you will be able to enjoy not just what everyone was listening to during the year (apparently, it was the year of Drake) but also show you what you were listening to a lot during specific months of the year. It will even tell you things like what you listened to first in 2015, what are your top 5 most listened to artists, which albums and songs you listened to the most, etc.

If you want a more general retrospective look at the year in music, you can also browse through the interactive year in music look at the global section, like Zayn leaving One Direction, Sweden winning Euro Vision, the year of hiphop, etc. You can even choose a specific country to see and hear what they were listening to in 2015.

You will be able to spend hours just browsing and listening to the year in music section of Spotify and exploring the playlists that will make you nostalgic already for 2015, even if it hasn’t finished yet. Spotify is also giving listeners their own playlist of recommended tracks based on what they were listening to in 2015.
