If you enjoy playing endless runner games, hitting your head against blocks (well, at least digitally), and dying in a few seconds only to relive the game over and over again, then you probably will enjoy playing this new game, out now for Android devices. Mad Aces is trying to be the new fun, sometimes rage-playing, casual gaming hit and all you need to do is to smash through the blocks across the screen, and hopefully survive while doing so.
As with most games nowadays, it starts out simply enough. The character you play flies across the screen, smashing through blocks. Oh if only it were that simple, then you probably would not be playing this game (unless you like really really easy games). Some blocks have spikes, and obviously you have to avoid them. And of course it’s not as easy as it sounds and it sounds simple enough to learn but challenging to master.
As you play the game more, you get to unlock new heroes, get new visuals, and have new gameplay tweaks. But even if you’re really good and even if you try different control schemes, eventually you’ll die. Then you get to start all over again. But that’s the joy of games like this, if you’re into that sort of thing.
You can download Mad Aces from the Google Play Store for free. There are in-app purchases available, including the aforementioned heroes that you can buy for $1 each, if you’re too impatient to unlock them.
