The beauty (and sometimes curse) with RPG games is that once you get into it, you are totally into its immersive world, if it’s that good. Aralon is one of the more well-received ones and its first chapter, Sword and Shadow, has been one of the more well-received ones. Fans will be happy to know that the sequel, Forge and Flame, is now out for Android devices, with a whole new world set for you to explore and discover.
The game is set 100 years after the original and rumors of a new continent and a race that was long thought to have been extinct have reached your shores. At the same time, the battle for who should sit on the throne of Aralon is still ongoing amongst the families of Callaheim. You’ve discovered a plot against your family and also to wipe out the race once again of a people whom they thought were already extinct.
Of course the sequel is even bigger than the first chapter, and it involves an even more massive world to explore, as you choose to either be in first person or third person while playing. You can choose from among 3 races and 4 classes and a variety of items and weapons to aid you in your quest. The game also has a day and night cycle, to give the feeling that you really are exploring a real world.
