The day has arrived, that first step for CyanogenMod to give us an actual stable build of CM13 – or CyanogenMod’s Android Marshmallow version. Nightly builds are out for a small list of devices, and if you’re ready to test out the nightlies, get excited and read on.

CyanogenMod is still one of the most popular custom ROM names out there, and the developers in that acknowledge that a lot of people are waiting for them to come out with CM13. It starts today, as CyanogenMod puts out nightlies for these devices, namely – the OnePlus One, the Google Nexus 7, the LG G4, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, the LG GPad 7.0, the LG G3 Verizon, and the Moto X 2014.

It’s a pretty short list, but CyanogenMod has intentionally spread this list across the range of devices out there so that they can start testing for stability across a wide swath. The blog announcement also promises that this list will be growing, with new devices added pretty soon.

If you want to try these out, we’re just reminding you that you better know your way around flashing custom ROMs to your device. A nightly build means that there will be a lot of bugs and instability – even performance and quality loss – especially at this point in the game. If you understand this and still want to test it out, check out the source link below for the instructions and download locations.
