If you want your games a little more cerebral but not so complicated that you have to use a gazillion neurons to solve a puzzle, then this liquid physics puzzle game will be right up your alley. It is actually an enhanced version of the popular game (well popular in its genre of course) Puddle, and it is called, surprise surprise, Puddle +. This new version features enhanced graphics and new videos as well. So if you loved the first version, you’re probably inclined to get this new one too.

But if you’re not familiar with Puddle but intrigued by the idea of the game, the basic idea behind it is that you need to “guide” a puddle of liquid through various different environments, all without touching your actual screen. What you need to do is tilt your device left or right, or wherever is a good direction. And it’s not just a puddle of water. It can be oil, nitroglycerin, molten lava, etc, as long as it can be a puddle.

When tilting and guiding the puddle, you also have to take into consideration the friction, gravity, and temperature of the environment you’re moving in as well as the unique properties of the liquid you’re moving. When you’re going through some obstacles like burning passageways, carnivorous plants, and electric currents, the secret is in conserving as much liquid as possible.

You can download Puddle+ from the Google Play Store for just $2.99. It is an all-in price, so no more in-app purchases necessary.
