Google+ may not be the top social network today but it still has an audience. The tech giant recently updated the site so don’t be surprised if you notice some changes. If you’re a frequent user, you’d see that Communities and Collections are now the center of attention. Google took note of the fact that these features are becoming more popular each day with an average of 1.2 million new users.
Communities are more widely used but after only five months since its launch, Collections has quickly caught up as a trend. There are a lot of Communities to discover on Google+ under different categories. Some of the more popular ones according to Google include the Nonfiction Addiction Community and the Watch Project Collection.
The redesigned Google+ can be experienced now on Android, Web, and iOS. The devs made it more mobile-friendly now for a more convenient and faster browsing. The new version isn’t live yet for everyone but you can opt-in now to enjoy the update.
If you still haven’t caught up on Communities and Collections, it’s time that you check out these features and discover new things and see what other people have to stay. You’ll be surprised that there are numerous pages that feature your likes and interests. There are more people that share some of the things you love so don’t miss this chance and see the updated Google+.
Google+ has also been updated with a redesigned home stream. You may notice that it’s now easier to search, connect, post, and read the feed whether on desktop of mobile and on different sizes or screens.
