While listening to your favorite playlists and artists on Spotify is nice, de-stressing, and a perfect way to end the day or begin one, true blue music lovers would still want to enjoy the energy and joy you get from watching your favorite musicians and singers live. That’s why Spotify’s new feature will help you not miss out when your favorite artists come to town or where to catch them when you’re traveling.
The Concerts feature can be found when you open your Browse tab. There you will see not a list of all artists playing near your area, but rather a personalized one showing only those that you listen a lot to or artists that you choose to follow on the music streaming channel. But just like the Discover Weekly feature, it will also show you artists you may not know but which Spotify thinks you’ll like based on the type of music that you listen to.
If you’re in a different area than where you live or work or you will travel somewhere far, you can change your location so you can see the concerts happening all over the world. And if you decide that you actually want to buy tickets for specific concerts, you can buy them not directly of course but with just a few clicks that will lead you to their ticket partner Songkick.
The Concerts tab on your Spotify browser will start rolling out today to Android users. Don’t yet panic if you don’t have it as it may be a gradual rollout.
