Netmarble is one of those Korean gaming outfits hoping to take the world by storm with that next big MMO (massively multiplayer online) gaming app. The outfit is hoping that this next game from them, called “Guild of Honor”, will make it big internationally, seeing that it was released not just in Korea but in other markets all over the world and was done in 14 different languages. Are you ready to try this one out?
In the game, players start out with 3 heroes that they can control, but the idea is to build up their army to as much as 360 different soldiers that they can use. The game allows players to recruit these soldiers, coming from 5 different classes – Attackers, Tankers, Rangers, Mages, Healers. The strategy part of the game is mainly how you build up your army and how you use the special abilities of your soldiers against the enemies and against other clans.
If the RPG part is meticulously building your army and leveling the soldiers up, all with different special abilities, the social part is joining up with other players in a clan. The MMO and strategy part is taking part of huge clan battles where you can contribute your soldiers to your clan, with battles supporting as much as 100 players at a time.
