Gone are the days when in order for your music to come out on speakers, you need wires and bells and whistles. Music streaming is now not just for your smartphones but also for speakers around the house or office. If your speaker brand of choice is Sonos, you can now stream your Amazon Prime Music to them, and you don’t need to pay for anything additional, as long as you are a Prime user.
Through the Beta on Sonos app, you will now be able to share your music with other people in your pad or your office. There are more than a million songs on Amazon’s music database, and you won’t even be interrupted by those annoying ads that some music streaming services have. You can also create various playlists for different occasions, like a “wake me up even if I don’t want to” playlist, a “let’s be hip and cool” party playlist, or a “be productive or else” playlist at the office.
And if you don’t want to make the effort to make playlists, the Prime Stations can help you with that so just choose what mood you’re in and let the automated music do all the work. There are also artist-centered stations so if you’re having a One Direction-themed Halloween party, you now have the perfect station to tune in to.
To be able to enjoy streaming your Prime Music to your Sonos speakers, simply open your Beta in Sonos app, add Amazon Music in the Music Menu and then input your Prime account details. If you don’t have an Amazon Prime account, they’re offering a 30-day free trial on their website, and you’ll not just have Prime Music but 2-day delivery, access to books in Amazon Kindle Unlimited, and other perks.
