Aside from the Sony Xperia Z5, the Xperia Z5 Compact is expected to arrive in some countries in the European region. If you may remember, the new Xperia Z5 line was first listed for pre-order in the UK. All three models were included and surprisingly for some reason, their prices were cut within less than a week.
The smartphones have been getting great reviews but we’re not sure how many units have been sold by Sony already. For one, the Xperia Z5’s camera was regarded by Strategy Analytics to offer the best camera experience among the mobile devices in the market today. We have yet to know how the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is performing but the phone is already available at Carphone Warehouse unlocked and in exclusive ‘Coral’ color for £449.99 ($684) in the UK.
Phone is also ready for grabs at giffgaff and 02 under pay-as-you-go or monthly contract plans. The Sony Mobile Store has listed the Xperia Z5 Compact in Sweden, Spain, Poland, and Italy for around the same price–just below $700. Retailers like Handtec, EE, Clove, and Amazon.co.uk will receive the phones any time this week.
And while we’re on the subject, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact was recently reviewed and compared with an iPhone 6s. Specifically, the fingerprint scanner recognition was the focus. Watching the video below, I’m convinced that Sony’s latest flagship phone can very well compete with the premium models of the top brands today. Sony may not be on top but the company certainly has a winner…or rather winners in the new Xperia Z5 line.
