There are just too many Galaxy lines of mobile devices we’re close to getting confused. Actually, we’re about to get crazy now what with the Galaxy S, Galaxy Grand, and now, this Galaxy O series. We’re keeping in mind that all these are Galaxy phones. Samsung’s newest Galaxy O  may be challenging to distinguish again but we’re certain this one has a niche of its own.

On its first release, Samsung is believed to be launching a pair of two phones: the Samsung Galaxy Mega On and the Samsung Galaxy Grand On. The Galaxy Mega On was recently sighted on Chinese’s FCC equivalent–the TENAA–which tells us that the phablet is coming really soon.

Smartphone was sighted under an SM-G6000 code name, complete with a 5.5-inch HD screen, 1280 x 720p display, and a 1.2GHz  Snapdragon 410 quad-core  processor. Weighing only 172 grams and measuring 151.8 × 77.5 × 8.2 mm, the device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and supports numerous bands and network frequencies (900MHz, 1800MHz, 850MHz, 1900MHz, 800MHz, 2GHz, Band 38, Band 39, Band 40, Band 41, Band 1, Band 3, 1.9GHz, I, Ⅱ, Ⅴ, Ⅷ). As for connectivity, the phone is listed with GSM,CDMA,TD-SCDMA,TD-LTE,LTE FDD, and WCDMA.

No mention of battery, RAM, and built-in storage capacity but according to a previous leak, the phone will have a 3000 mAh battery, 1.5GB RAM, and an 8GB internal storage. Cameras will be 13MP (main) and 5MP for the front-facing camera. A more recent information sheet sighted on Geekbench3 listed the device with only 1GB RAM.

There’s also another information that the Samsung Galaxy Mega On will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 412 processor instead of an S410. Too many conflicting details but let’s wait and see when the South Korean tech giant makes the official unveiling.
