They say it takes 21 days to do something every day to form a habit. Well, actually whoever “they” were just misinterpreted an author’s book, but what is true is that doing something every day is indeed habit-forming. But sometimes, we forget what it is we’re supposed to do every day, so that is where digital tools will come in handy. A new Android app called Habit Tracker: Goals & To-do’s does just that so that you will consciously form these (hopefully) good habits.
If you’ve been thinking of a habit to form, you simply add it to the app and you get a daily reminder to do it. Or if you want to try out something but don’t know what it is yet, you can choose a habit from the app’s online database. Your goal is to make a long chain and not break it, as you mark the task or tasks done every day. You can add as many as you can or want to, and get reminded whatever time you choose, or even as many times a day that you want to be reminded to do it.
Adding habits can be either really simple or as extensive as you want it to be. You can also create custom reminders for each of the tasks. Aside from habit-tracking and habit-forming tasks, you can also use the app as your personal to-do list app by creating one time tasks. You can also add labels to your habits so you can keep them organized. You can also add a few notes for each task, in case there are some details you need to be reminded of.
Habit Tracker also comes with Google’s Material Design visual guidelines, so if you’re familiar with that look, you won’t have trouble adjusting. You can download the app for free from the Google Play Store.
I m using “IPro Habit Tracker” for tracking the habits. Also its streak representation is best based on filter.
I like database backup and restore functionality of the application. Specially see backup file from document directory which is in decoding format, it is best for security purpose.
available on Android and iphone..
