Jawbone has a lot of new things in store for us. As one of the top brands in wearable and consumer technology products, Jawbone just rolled out a new design for the UP2. Meanwhile, the UP3 and UP4 got new colors for us to choose from. These activity trackers have been enhanced with new functions and features that will arrive through a software update on Jawbone devices.
The Jawbone activity tracking devices come in several designs and colors and they all promise being lightweight. New features like Passive Heart Rate monitoring and Automatic Sleep Detection will be added along with the firmware update.
Jawbone has decided to introduce each model in different colors. They are as follows:
• Jabwone UP2 – Black Diamond and Light Grey Hex plus new colors (Turquoise Circle, Oat Spectrum, Gunmetal Hex, Orchid Circle)
• Jawbone UP3 – Black Twist and Silver Cross plus new colors (Indigo Twist, Ruby Cross, Sand Twist, Teal Cross)
You can now easily exit and enter sleep mode without having to tap the band. Why, the device can detect if the user is sleeping or awake. Sleep stages like REM and Light and Deep sleep can even be tracked by the UP3 and UP4. Tracking Passive Heart Rate is a new sensor on UP3 and UP4 that provides heart health indicators that check the user’s physical activity.
Jawbone UP2 tracker is now available on Amazon and Jawbone website for only $99.99. Another version with lightweight thin straps can be purchased from BestBuy.com and Target.com. Meanwhile, the UP3 tracker by is priced at $180, now available on Amazon, Best Buy, and Target.
