Alcatel has prepared a lot of new products for the whole Android community at this year’s IFA in Berlin. Actually, the French company has been revealing a number of phones under the Onetouch series and expect more in the coming months. Ready to shine in the Onetouch POP family are two new phones called the POP STAR and POP UP. A brand new line has also been introduced: the GO family that includes the GO PLAY and the GO WATCH.
The Alcatel Onetouch POP STAR is a 5-inch phone that is ideal for the fashionable youngsters who want personalized covers to express their style. Alcatel is releasing a wide array of covers for the new phone. You can choose from different collections: Funky, Leather, Fashion, or Nature-ECO. Features of the phone include a 5MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with EIS, HD IPS display, quad-core processor, and 3G+ or 4G connectivity.
The Alcatel Onetouch POP UP model also boasts of being stylish and fashionable. Screen is a fully laminated HD IPS display with wide viewing angles. Smartphone is powered by an octa-core CPU and comes with 4G connectivity, 13 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, and a metal frame with glass hard key. Alcatel Onetouch POP UP is available in Strawberry Red, White, Amber Orange, Riva Blue, and Black.
The Alcatel Onetouch GO PLAY is ready for rugged use with its robust design. It’s also water-, dust-, and shockproof with IP 67-rating. It’s paired with a waterproof headset that comes in eight color choices. Bring this GO PLAY with you while swimming to shoot great images underwater. The coolest feature of all is its super long battery life. Phone can last 20 days on standby mode, 55 hours of music playback, and 8.3 hours of non-stop talk time.
Alcatel’s Onetouch GO WATCH joins the wearable game. It’s ideal to be paired with the GO PLAY phone because they’re both tough and rugged to use. It’s not just Android-compatible as smartwatch also works with iOS. Like the standard smartwatches available in the market today, the GO WATCH can show notifications for new calls, text messages, emails, and information like weather or reminder for your next schedule. You can change the watch’s wrist band and front casing depending on your style or mood. Battery life can last up to five days.
No information on pricing and availability yet but expect several mobile carriers to make their own announcement.
