While wireless headphones and earbuds have brought comfort and convenience for us who dislike wires and being literally tethered to our smartphones, it also brought the problem of battery life. A lot of them have short ones, and so we are either left without our music for long trips or we’d have to go back to the battery-less normal wired earphones. Bose is now introducing a new generation of its Soundlink around-ear wireless headphones that is promising to give you 15 hours of non-stop listening experience.

Having long battery life is always a good selling point for any device, whether you’re a smartphone or a power bank and Bose knows this. So the 15-hour run time of the Soundlink II headphones is something they’re proud about, along with the fact that two devices can connect to it as well. In terms of sound quality, it has active equalization, volume-optimized equalization, and for those who would like to make and receive phone calls, the “advanced microphone system” allows you to make clear HD voice and adaptive audio for high-quality phone calls. Also, you just need to charge it for 15 minutes and it will give you two hours of playback.

The headphone itself is heavy duty but is surprisingly not heavy. It is made from impact resistant materials so you know it’s stronger than the usual, and the stainless steel will not allow it to be corroded over time. Despite the fact that it is made from various materials, including glass-filled nylon, it weighs just 7 ounces.

Other features include video/audio syncing, connecting to your device through Bluetooth and voice prompts available in 11 languages. The Bose Soundlink around-ear wireless headphones costs $279.95, which is average for that kind of headphones.
