For those who were eagerly awaiting when you’ll be able to get your hands on the brand new Asus Zenwatch 2 after it was announced last June, then we have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that the OEM has finally announced pricing details for the two variants of the smartwatch (although it’s just European prices). The bad news is that you will have to wait until October to be able to sport these wearables.

Early this summer, the Zenwatch 2 was already announced and shown off at the Computex in Taiwan. There are two variants to this: a 45mm model and a slightly bigger version at 49mm. The former has a 1.45 inch display while the latter has 1.6 inches. But both have AMOLED displays and will be running on a Snapdragon 400 processor, plus 512GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage. They have Bluetooth 4.1 and WiFi connectivity.

The smaller of the two has a 300mAh battery and can last up to two days while the 49mm version has a 400mAh battery and will be able to survive 2.5 days. But these longevity estimates are if the smartwatch is in ambient mode which means you barely use it except to tell time. The 2nd get of the Zenwatch also has better charging now as it can refill your smartwatch from 0 to 50% in 36 minutes.

The Asus Zenwatch 3 will be available in three colors, namely rose gold, gunmetal or silver. Pricing is at €149 or around $170 for the 45mm model and €169 or around $190 for the 49mm one. Asus says their newest wearable will be available worldwide by October.
