Not all of us have access to the upcoming new Android version, Marshmallow, but developers are already starting to update their respective apps and programs to make them compatible when it finally does roll out. One of those apps is Talon for Twitter, which only recently rolled out a “massive update” with version 3.0. But here they are again, with version 3.1, bringing more support for its Android Wear app and of course Marshmallow support (sounds like a great new dessert!).

Of course, only those with Preview 3 on Nexus devices will be able to enjoy this Marshmallow support, which already apparently includes the new app permission settings that will be included in the major Android update later this year. This new model will actually allow the user to be more specific in the permissions they will allow at runtime. Also, the Talon update has already incorporated the new auto backup feature that Marshmallow will eventually roll out.

If you don’t have the Android M preview on a Nexus, but you do have an Android Wear device, then your Talon for Twitter app has also been updated. In fact, the whole wearable app has been revamped. You can now favorite, retweet, compose tweets, and reply to tweets from your smartwatch through the Talon for Twitter app.

As for the regular Talon for Twitter Android app, you will now be able to display inline images from the quoted tweets. You will also now be able to browse through the images on a user profile page. The update for the app has already rolled out so you can check it through its Google Play Store page.
