When you see the phrase “premium features at an affordable price”, do you get all excited and line up to get this product, or are you cynical enough to think that this is something too good to be true? But that is precisely what LG claims their brand new Tone Ultra HBS-810 brings consumers, as it is set to be launched by the end of this month in the US.

LG promises that even though the headphones will be reasonably priced, that doesn’t mean they skimped on the flexibility and sound quality of the device. It is actually an enhanced version of the previously released Tone Ultra HBS-800 model and is a collaboration with JBL, an electronics specialist. It has Quad-Layer Speaker Technology so that when you’re listening to music or the video that you’re watching, you get enhanced bass and middle-range tones and optimized audio equalization. Plus, it has those silicone gel ear pieces that gives you sound isolation, better playback, and very little ambient sound.

As for the “premium features”, these were only previously for the brand’s high-end headsets only, but now is being added to the more affordable Tone Ultra HBS-810. The earbuds are completely retractable so tangled wires are a thing of the past. It will also have a two-way job button that can help control things like fast forward and rewind easily.

However, we still don’t know how affordable the LG Tone Ultra HBS-810 headphones is since that info will still be revealed when it’s officially launched (at least for Asia and Europe) at the IFA 2015 early next month.
