While all countries where Android devices are present have Google Play Store available as well, paid content is not accessible to all these countries. But Google is doing their best to slowly expand their reach, working out the kinks and issues that prevent them from making paid content like Music, Movies, Books, etc available in all territories. Yesterday, they announced that three more countries are getting Google Play Movies while four new countries will be able to buy paid content on Google Newsstand.
The rollout has sometimes been slow, but at least it is gradual and consistent. Starting today, Android users in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore will be able to buy and rent movies online through Google Play Movies. Understandably, not all the movies will be available in the three countries, since there are some religious and cultural sensitivity issues with some movies that are available elsewhere. But at least now, users have the option to buy their movies through Google and directly on to their devices.
As for the Newsstand, four more countries can buy newspapers and magazines through this platform. Those in Poland, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Ukraine can access paid content on the Newsstand. Previously, the free content, which functions more like a news reader, were available here as well, but it’s only now that they can actually pay for the content that they want to have.

This brings the total of countries with access to these content to 104 for Movies and 22 to paid Newsstand content. Hopefully, we get to see more countries added to this list, as well as for Music and Books before the year ends.
