VERIZON XLTE

The XLTE market is rapidly expanding in the United States. Well, at least according to Verizon as the company recently announced that they have improved the network so 4G LTE mobile connection will be faster than ever. Verizon Wireless has proudly announced that the AWS spectrum and the standard 700MHz 4G LTE spectrum will now be available for XLTE-capable devices.

This development is now also ready in more cities in the country including Carlsbad-Artesia (New Mexico), Coos Bay-North Bend (Oregon), Stevens Point-Marshfield (Wisconsin), Selma (Alabama), Corbin (Kentucky), and Jackson (Mississippi). All six countries are now part of the long list of areas being catered by Verizon’s XLTE.

Most of Verizon’s plan holders and subscribers are already covered by the XLTE network. In the US, more than 400 markets can enjoy the network’s 4G LTE speed. Verizon has doubled the bandwidth so more people can benefit from it. At present, there are over 50 devices under Verizon’s product lineup that are XLTE-ready. Most premium flagship phones like the Galaxy S6 edge, iPhone 6, LG G4, HTC One M9, and Motorola Droid Turbo currently support XLTE.

Not many people are aware of the XLTE network but they’re already using it. It just means a faster than ever before 4G LTE connection. It was introduced by Verizon last year as a improvement over the network’s existing LTE technology. It quickly went live and worked with many Android devices offered by the company. Some of the early models that supported the XLTE network include the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, HTC One Remix, Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and even its Ellipsis Jetpack.
