If you’ve been using the APUS launcher as your default Android smartphone home screen launcher, a new beta feature might make you happy, if you’re into having the same wallpaper with a loved one. The Linked Wallpaper feature allows you to link your accounts together, making it easier to share photos or other images so that the two of you will be able to either stay in touch through your home screen or relive memories that only a photo can bring.
Of course it’s given that you both (or all, if more than two) need to be using the APUS launcher, which is actually a good one to use, if you want a fast and intuitive app to look for all your other apps or to of mobile website searches as well. If you use the Linked Wallpaper feature, you will be given a unique code that you will share with the loved one that you want to share this feature with. Once the code has been entered, you can now choose the wallpaper or photo that you want to share. You can actually “half it” so that one half is on your device and the other is on theirs, or you can just mirror each other’s wallpaper.
It might seem corny for some, but there will probably be people that will find this appealing. APUS Group’s founder and CEO believes that this feature will bring an even more unique experience for their users. Customizing launchers and your smartphone is actually one of the hallmarks of the Android platform, so this is another example of how an app can take advantage of this.
You can check APUS launcher’s Google Play Store page to see if the feature has rolled out to your app already.
Is it possible to link again with same apus account after unlinking it?
