These days, whenever a big budget fantasy, sci-fi, or action movie gets released on the big screen, we more or less expect a game to come out of it sooner or later. Now whether the game is a good companion for the movie or if it’s just another way for producers to cash in on anything connected to the franchise, that remains to be scene. Not getting left out of the gaming trend is the latest remake to hit your movie screen, The Man from U.N.C.L.E starring Superman himself and the Winklevoss twins.
Mission: Berlin is a new Android game that is the movie tie-in to the remake of a 60s TV classic. Surprisingly, the movie is still set in the 60s during the Cold War of that period and stars Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer as two agents from the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, a fictional secret international intelligence agency. They’re on a top secret mission of course to stop some evil organization hell bent on taking over or destroying the world in the process.
In the game, you get to choose which agent you want to play, and you can even choose which side you’re playing on, whether the CIA or the KGB. Your goal is to simply fulfill the mission that you’re given in this action-based adventure game. Every time you complete a Top Secret mission, you get points of course which you can then use to upgrade your spy’ powers. You can also record your gameplay if you think you’re that good, then share it to the world.
You can download Mission: Berlin from the Google Play Store for free. You need not watch the movie to be able to play this game, but you may need to still do, if only to have more appreciation for the story.
