I am a big Super Mario fan going back years ago when the game first hit stores when I was a kid. Mario is one of the most popular game characters out there. If you are a fan of Mario, you can make Super Mario Bros your wallpaper like the geek in the video below.
To make this happen on your device it needs to be running Android 2.1 or higher. Mario runs around on the screen jumping over things and going from block to block, it’s really cool. The wallpaper has three themes that are all things you will recall from the games.
It’s not a playable game, but it looks like it. The wallpaper is created on the fly so it will always be different thanks to level generators and an AI to control Mario. The only downside here is that your battery life will probably suck after the install.

looks cool
cool. where did you get it?
Its a sweet wallpaper it does not drain the battery too much, not much more than the doom wallpaper. I’ve downloaded it a while ago. Here is the link the the developers website.

6 months late with this? The video has over half a million views already lol
Again, not news. I’ve been running this since last summer.
Have I just stepped back in time possibly as much as a year?
The amount of people who complain on this site is annoying. I had never seen this before thanks for sharing!
If you want to enhance your body of knowledge about the platform, check the archives or join a forum. Like the others posting, I saw this when it first came out and even ran it as my background for a few weeks. The fact that Shane ran with this post as if this wallpaper were news is just more evidence that the bloggers running Android Community don’t have a clue. I’d already be elsewhere if I knew of a less amateur Android news source.
You guys crack me up, just because you know about it doesn’t mean everyone does. There are several people that commented here alone that didn’t know about it. I don’t care how old it is, that is cool.
cool but not a fan of live wallpaper to save my battery juice
