Paying for goods found in the Google Play Store has always been easy and convenient. You only need to enter your credit card information or you can also choose to receive a bill from your carrier. I prefer credit card payment because it’s more widely used but some people prefer carrier billing. It actually makes sense because it can be easier to keep track of charges while credit cards can be more easily abused.

Google has recently announced that more carriers are being supported. Carrier billing is now available in more international carriers like Nextel and Iusacell in Mexico, XL/AXIS in Indonesia, and Slovak Telekom in Slovakia. So if you are in any of the countries listed and are subscribed to the aforementioned networks, you can now charge any game or app to your bill which you will need to pay at the end of each month.

Meanwhile in Brazil, Google added support for the Elo debit card which is widely used in the South American country. Using a debit card is more hassle-free because you don’t have to worry about seeing extra charges on top of your monthly bill.

When you use a debit card, charges are immediately taken from your own account. No more interest charges and no more waiting to see if bill has ballooned after all those senseless apps and games someone in your household has been downloading.
