Word from a fellow by the name of “Hamburger” in our discussion forums is that T-Mobile is pushing out an over-the-air update to all MyTouch 3G holders out there. Which update, you ask? Why, Android 2.2 Froyo of course. If you’ve been following this story you’ll know that these myTouch people have been waiting a while for this and were even promised that they’d have it by the beginning of February. Turns out it’s here now!
If you see this update roll through your device, let us know! We’re gonna go ahead and assume this update is going to be sent out to both myTouch 3G 3.5mm Jack and myTouch Fender LE. Until then ladies and gentlemen, keep on clicking on that Android Community app you picked up for free in the Android Marketplace, and keep the fire burning! Take a peek at the original discussion forum thread here, and tell Hamburger to get a move on with that pic!

I got my Froyo Monday morning, a Great way to start my week!
I got it and it slowed my phone down so much that I got a new phone. The phone was unstable and was constantly crashing. Awful.
My daughter got the update on her Fender LE and it has slowed down the phone significantly. BIG problem now is that she can’t see any of her pictures in the Gallery. Clicks on Gallery icon and gets a blank/unfocused light screen and no images. Used Astro Folder mgr and didn’t see the pics in the directory either…..Going to try vewing the images on the card using the computer. Anyone else having problems?
yes i am having the sane issue. I have called tmobile and they are getting bombarded with these issues. They have opted to send me a new phone.
they pulled the “master reset” nonsense on me and it made no difference. the phone is excruciatingly slow and all of a sudden the battery life gets sucked out of it in half the time.
Im’ having a problem with see the pictures in my Gallery. when you turn on the phone you can see it but to see your pictures through out the day it doesn’t work.
Same here with the pic gallery glich. I also did a master reset on my mytouch 3g which fixed the impromptu rebooting issue but the phone is still slow. What is the solution to this problem?
