The wait is almost over…that is, if you like your Rambo cute and caricaturish. A new game, which has been hailed by Time Magazine as one of the 5 best mobile games this year so far, is now available for Android devices. Let the Ramboat shooting games begin.
The characters may seem cute, but the action is definitely intense in Ramboat: Hero Shooting Game, a running shooter and poker adventure style of arcade game where your only mission is to escape the war-hungry characters that are keeping you captive. Fortunately, you don’t have to do it alone, sort of. There are 9 other playable characters in the game, including a pirate, a footballer, a cyborg, and apparently, even the mother of dragons herself (maybe Daenerys or a caricature of herself, just like Ramboat).
You can also choose your boat from among the 11 powerful ones available, which includes a pirate ship, a submarine, a luxury yacht, and yes, even a hippo. You can also choose your weapons, like the machine gun, rocket launcher, flamethrower, and if you feel like going old school, a pistol. You can also upgrade both the vehicle and the weapons as you get more points and virtual cash.
