Bounce a small circle around in Ding Dong, now available on Android

When you hear the words Ding Dong, you automatically think of a doorbell or follow it up with the phrase “the witch is dead” (thanks to The Wizard of Oz). But now, if you’re a fan of minimalist touch arcade games, you will think of it as the newest one in the market to either drive you crazy or to help you pass the time. Ding Dong is now available as a free game for Android devices.

The object of the game is to make the small circle jump from one side of the screen to another without crashing into the various obstacles that are floating in and out of the middle of the screen. If you hit the squares and rectangles that are moving perpendicular to the circle, then you’re dead. But there are also bonuses that you can pick up if you are able to jump at the right time. The endless (infinite) type of game play can keep you occupied for hours, or minutes, if you die easily.

You can also brag about your high score or challenge your friends to beat yours (and vice versa) since there is a Google Play Games Leader board and an Achievements board as well. The minimalist graphics and the simple touch screen controls is good for those who are just starting to play mobile games and for those who are already experts, this should be a fun piece of cake.

Ding Dong is available for free from the Google Play Store. There is a single in-app purchase that you can make to get rid of the ads that might interfere in your gameplay.
