IF, which was formerly known as IFTTT (If this then that, in case you didn’t know) has helped us streamline some of our digital processes and actions. And having several Android apps to help us manage and implement the “recipes” and even create new ones has been highly convenient, especially for those who rely on digital means mostly to organize their lives. Some new recipes and a new look on Do and Do Camera, as well as a brand new Android Battery Channel are added bonuses for fans of this method of living.

The DO app, introduced last February, allows you to have just a one tap shortcut for a process that normally has several steps. The updated version now has improved widget designs and floating buttons to make it easier to add tasks or recipes. They have also added some personal recommendation for recipes, based on how you’ve been using Do and IFTTT. There are also some new recipes that you can play around with, like adding a sparkling heart emoji to all the photos that you take with DO Camera, another special IF app.

Meanwhile, if you need help in managing your smartphone battery (which of course we all do), then IF’s new Android Battery Channel is the perfect tool for you. It has recipes like “turn off Bluetooth when your battery is low” or if you’re into this kind of thing, recording in a Google Spreadsheet everytime your battery becomes low. Remember, you can create your own recipes as well, like turning on the mute button when your battery is low.

The Android Device Channel meanwhile has gotten several new things to control, including Bluetooth, WiFi, navigation, and music control. For example, if you want to save on your data charges, you can use the recipe that automatically turns on your WiFi when you get home. Or if you need to stop playing streaming music when you lose your WiFi connection, you can also create a recipe like that. So many channels, so many recipes, so little time.
