Samsung’s latest Galaxy S6 and S6 edge may already be making waves and running the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop version but the two still don’t have a new TouchWiz. The South Korean giant’s very own user interface on the smartphones is still the old version. Owners have been craving for a redesign to match the new phone theme but there haven’t been anything official from Samsung yet.
No themes are considered attractive enough by the phone users. Stock Android is very simple but there’s no theme that matches its simplicity. People were actually expecting the designers and developers would come up with their own themes for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge but it took a while. Months after the official release of the flagships models, we have this stock Material Design shared by XDA Developers.
The theme was designed by Samer Zayer. It took him three weeks to polish and finally publish on the Samsung Theme Store. It’s only a stock Material Design theme and is currently offered for free for S6/S6 edge owners. The theme looks impressive and beautifully designed, matching the current interface of the smartphones.
Samsung’s TouchWiz has remained the same for some time now. The aesthetics are outdated but good thing devs finally thought of coming up with something. This release will probably inspire developers and designers to follow.
Feel free to join Samer Zayer’s Theme’s Google+ community to know more about the theme. Feedback and suggestions are highly welcome.

I chose this over the Note 4 as the replacement for my Galaxy S4. Aside from the battery life, I love everything about this phone. It charges very quickly and the wireless charging works perfectly even though my Otterbox. NO REGRETS. Super fast and great phone.
