T-Mobile USA is planning sub-$100 Android smartphones and super-budget data plans in order to stem the flow of subscribers to iPhone-offering rivals. According to the carrier, around 10-percent of US churn – users leaving one network for another – has been down to subscribers wanting AT&T’s iPhone.

In response, the carrier has suggested it will offer an even broader range of Android-based handsets, together with a $10 data plan. No word on when we can expect to see this arrive, however.

  1. How about kicking samsung to the curb so tmobile dose not get a bad name for not updating software . SUPPORT HTC ,MOTOROLA AND LG PHONES . AT least they update their firmwares. This would be a good start to get tmobile to compete with the other carries. Lets see the first HTC and LG DUAL CORES on Tmobile .How about it Tmobile.
