When it comes to puzzle games on mobile devices, usually it’s either you match things of the same color or kind, or you put things together, or you try to find your way out of mazes and such. But this new game, available now for Android smartphones and tablets, lets you deconstruct the complicated wooden puzzles that are too interlocked with each other that they just need to be pulled apart. And of course, the game’s name is Interlock, which is the opposite of what you should be doing.
The 3D puzzles in the game are beautifully constructed but ultimately difficult to untangle. Just one look might make you want to give up on it, but when you do finally unlock everything, then you’ll “feel ten times as smart”, as the game description said. You are given just one of the brain teasing puzzles in each level that you play. But don’t worry, you’ll have your hands full with just that one.
The music is calm enough so you won’t panic, unlike in other games where the music contributes to the stress of solving the puzzle or racing against time or other characters. You also have four chapters to finish in this game. But even if those are just four chapters, all the levels in them are pretty challenging. You also get to unlock 18 various achievements all throughout the game.
