The description “easy to learn, difficult to master” has been used and abused in describing mobile games (or just games in general), but sometimes that is really the best way to describe it. One such game is called Atomas, and yes, it is all about solving puzzles and creating elements, so if this is your kind of thing, read on. If chemistry isn’t your jam, then maybe look away, unless you think playing this game might make you appreciate this subject at last.
It all starts out with hydrogen atoms, which you will need to fuse together with the help of energy rich atoms in order to create valuable elements like gold, platinum, silver, etc. If you’ve forgotten your periodic table, then it’s time to bring out those table of elements and chemistry books (or you know, just google it or something) and review in order to do well in this game. As you create these new elements, you’ll get to unlock lucky charms, which you’ll be needing as the game progresses.
But you have to be careful not to have too many atoms in your universe as it may result in another big bang (and not the good kind). If the “big crunch” happens, the game is over. You get to create 45 different atoms and collect 9 different lucky charms. If you get a high score you’d want to boast about, you can share it on your Facebook and Twitter.
You can download Atomas for free from the Google Play Store. There are also in-app purchases available to help you along the way, but it is also not necessary. Just bring those atoms together and make your elements.
