Just seeing the name of this new Android game is probably explanation enough as to what to expect when you download it and install it on your device. But if you are into this kind of games, then you’d still want to play Dungeon Crawler even if the name is a dead giveaway. The new puzzle-RPG game brings simple gameplay, old school graphics, and a chance to become a hero by saving a princess, as sexist and/or cliche as that may sound.
While the visuals may be retro, the gameplay is…okay, still a bit retro. But that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy crawling through dungeons, fighting various monsters and creatures, and in the end, earn the princess’ eternal love and devotion. You get to improve your tools and weapons and armor along the way to help you beat the enemy.
There are just six levels in this game which means it’s just perfect for whiling the time away when you’re in between meetings, while commuting, or even, as the developer says, meditating while on the toilet. You have over 30 types of enemies that follow you around and are spoiling for a fight. The gameplay is fast, the soundtrack is cool, and so you might want to try out this uncomplicated but fun game.
You can download Dungeon Crawler from the Google Play Store for free. There are in-app purchases available, so if someone else will be playing the game on your device, make sure they won’t be able to bankrupt you by automatically buying items.
