When you’re using emojis and stickers when sending messages to your loved ones, haven’t you had that moment when you thought to yourself, “Hey, we need more stickers about _______!” or “Hey, I can come up with better stickers than this!” Well, a new update to messaging app Telegram will actually give you the chance to do just that. You can now submit your own sticker set to them and even get a permalink for it once it has been uploaded and approved.
Artists and creative people will surely have fun trying to come up with their own sticker sets. According to the developer, independent designers have been submitting their own unique, artistic takes on various everyday ideas. All you have to do is to send the sticker set to their twitter bot @stickers. When you get a permalink and you share it, users will automatically be able to add the sticker sets if they have Telegram installed and they click on the links.
Once you use the stickers and you send it to a friend who doesn’t have that particular set yet, all they have to do is tap on it and then choose “Add to Stickers”, take a look at the whole set, and then add the whole set if you like it. You’ll be able to access your new stickers in the dedicated sticker panel of the app.
There are a lot of messaging apps out there who offer a variety of stickers and emojis and emoji art. But Telegram is probably one of the very few who gives a chance to users to make their own stickers. If you don’t have the app yet, you can download it from the Google Play Store for free.
