One of the key highlights of the LG G4 is that you can take great photos with it because of its various features. They have teamed up with photographer Colby Brown, and in the latest video released, he showed us some five easy tips to taking better photographs with your upcoming new smartphone. Although it’s really more of a showcase for LG’s new flagship and you wouldn’t be able to use those tips if you don’t have one, it’s still pretty informative for those looking at improving their mobile photo skills.
The first tip is to take natural photos using the phone’s F1.8 lens, which is the brightest one among the smartphones available in the market now. The aperture sensor allows you take great pictures even without a flash. This may very well be one of the major reasons why people, or probably those who are serious about photography, would consider getting the LG G4. For the second tip, he talks about all the tweaks you can make when you use the manual mode. He shows you what the ISO, white balance, shutter speed and exposure speed works, and how you should use it depending on the situation.
The Color Spectrum Sensor is another great photo feature of the LG G4. It gives your smartphone the ability to determine what colors are supposed to look like, therefore adjusting the software settings to give you an image that more or less represents the colors of the real image. And it can do this even in low light situations. OIS or Optical Image Stabilization is the subject of the fourth tip and it shows how the smartphone stabilizes your camera even when you’re in a moving object . Lastly, for those who love taking selfies, the 8MP front=facing camera is a dream to work on, and it now has even improved gestures so you can take more than just one picture consecutively.
Colby Brown has taken some criticism because of his “partnership” with LG due to the fact that it’s pretty hardsell and somehow, people have this impression that you shouldn’t sell ut to the big guns. But hey, we don’t know if he really does believe in the product or the dollars have spoken. But all we know is that on paper, the LG G4 really has one of the best mobile cameras around. So if you’re into that sort of thing, maybe you should give the new smartphone a try.
