Have you ever wanted something so badly, but you had no way of getting it yet because it’s still not available anywhere in the world? That’s what a lot of Sony (and Android tablet) fans are feeling right now, as the OEM released a new video showcasing their upcoming new device, the Xperia Z4 Tablet. However, you still can’t get it anywhere, so the frustration and anticipation builds up as we wait for when the “world’s slimmest tablet” will finally be available.

When Sony first unveiled the Xperia Z4 tablet back in March at the Mobile World Congress, a lot of people were pretty impressed with the 10.1-inch device and its pretty nifty specs. But since then, they haven’t actually started selling it anywhere in the world. But maybe that day is almost here as Sony released a new video showcasing the beauty and power of the tablet (unless they just like torturing us or something). The ad brags about the immersive experience you will get when you use the Xperia Z4 tablet, even under wet circumstances.

The highly-anticipated tablet will be running on the Snapdragon 810 CPU and will have 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded with a microSD card and will have a 2560×1600 display. The ad also shows it working with other accessories, like a keyboard dock, which means you can also use it for work, other than just watching videos or playing games on it.

Hopefully, the release of this ad really means the Xperia Z4 Tablet is just around the corner. Some countries in Europe are already accepting pre-orders for this, but in most parts of the world, we just have to stare at the placeholder on their website. Good thing we now have a video we can watch over and over again as we wait for its arrival.

  1. Well, this is a British ad. So it seems that the Z4 Tablet is at least Europe-bound. What about North America? Sony, we want it here too. US-based PC World said the Sony Z4 Tablet is “exactly why [Sony] shouldn’t stop making mobile devices.” Go call your buddies at Verizon and T-Mobile and get this on their networks.
