In response to the launch of the EVO Shift 4G, Sprint has cut the Samsung-made Epic by $50. Coming in now at only $199.99 the device sports a 4-inch SuperAMOLED display which is .4-inches bigger than the Shift.
Being an all around impressive device, the major drawback is that it’s still running Android 2.1. Just now as Gingerbread has been released, we’re expecting phones to be updated to the new software, but not even the brand new Shift comes pre-loaded with Gingerbread.
If you’re looking for a Sprint 4G device that features a keyboard, both of these devices should be a great option. If you would like more information on the Shift, check out our full review coming later today.
