We have some more Android leaks and Reddit is fast becoming a good source for information that usually turn out reliable and true. The latest subject is a mystery Motorola smartphone as shared by one redditor who said there are a number of devices being tested in Chicago complete with QHD screens and not 4K as earlier reported. These Moto phones are still unnamed but the model numbers are given: XT1578, XT1585, and XT192A.
All these Moto phones seem to be under Verizon Wireless and run Android 5.1.1 except for the XT192A that runs Android 5.1. There’s a slight difference between the two but the version are definitely the latest.
Here’s a rundown of the specs of the mystery Moto devices:
• Motorola XT1578. Android 5.1.1, 560 screen DPI, 2392 X 1440 resolution, Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi
• Motorola XT1585. Android 5.1.1, 640 screen DPI, 2368 X 1440 resolution, Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi
• Motorola XT192A. Android 5.1, 640 screen DPI, 2368 X 1440 resolution, Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi
AndroidLeaks, the redditor who posted the information, first said they are 4K screens but others were quick to note they are actually QHD. There’s a small debate whether they are 4K or QHD but I think it doesn’t matter right now. We’re just delighted that Motorola has new Moto phones up its sleeves and that they already run the latest and the sweetest Lollipop out of the box. We want to know too if these are new Motos, Droids, or Maxxs or new models of all these series mentioned. What do you think?
