UK retailer Expansys has put the LG Optimus 2X up for pre-order, with the Tegra 2 powered Android smartphone expected to arrive on February 21 2011. Priced at £499.99 ($779) SIM-free and unlocked, the Optimus 2X runs Android 2.2 on the NVIDIA dual-core 1GHz chip and has a 4-inch display and 8-megapixel camera.

Expansys are known for their high prices when it comes to new devices. And it is not as if they can deliver the device first or anything.
