The Shadow Wireless earphones is the first to use NASA-inspired biomorphic design which they based on research made on the human body. They wanted to create something that is not intrusive and actually feels like an extension of your body. It has a flexible, soft, natural-fit collar, which even adjusts to your body movement and the makers say that eventually “you’ll soon forget that it’s there”.
But being comfortable enough to wear the whole day (or until the batteries last) doesn’t mean it skimps on the sound quality, even when you choose to leave the wires behind. You’ll still get wired-quality sound. It also has a mic so you can use it for calls, promising clear delivery as well. The 3-button remote lets you control and adjust your music, calls, and volume from your collar. You can also detach from your phone, as long as you stay within the 30-foot wireless range. It also has an 8-hour battery life so even long commutes can survive it.
Shadow Wireless will be available exclusively at SOL REPUBLIC’s online store, Best Buy retail stores, and bestbuy.com. It will cost $99.99 and comes in just two colors: steel black and rich grey. It will be available in more retail stores by June 2015.
