If you’d like to have a smartphone that might not look like any other in the market (at least those without cases), then you’d might want to consider getting the Natural Bamboo limited edition of the Xiaomi Mi Note. The 5.7-inch display smartphone will have all of the same specs of their newest device, but with the smooth and elegant looking bamboo backing, and it can be yours in just two weeks time.
The Xiaomi Mi Note has been receiving praise for being the most powerful yet from the Chinese OEM. It runs on Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz, Adreno 330 and has 3GB RAM, which is pretty great for a smartphone of its kind. But the appeal of this limited edition smartphone is probably the bamboo back case that makes it look sophisticated and high-end (although the price is not that expensive). It also might seen heavy but at just .99mm thick and it is actually 5 grams lighter than the original Mi Note.
This special edition still has the 3D curved Gorilla Glass 3 and a full HD display so nothing much has changed. It also has a 13MP main camera with OIS and a 4MP front camera. It has a 3000mAh battery and has Quick Charge 2.0 so it should be better than most in terms of battery life.
Unfortunately, this bamboo edition is only available in China for now. So if you’re in the region, you can start registering for it now. It will cost you approximately $370, which is roughly the same as the original edition. If you pre-order this now, you’ll get it in 2 weeks. Sale of the limited edition Mi Note will start on March 24.
