When it comes to audio accessories, Sony has created some pretty respectable ones, and you don’t even have to rob a bank in order to get them (read: reasonably priced). Their latest headphones, the Stereo Bluetooth Headset SBH70, is a water-resistant and lightly-built wireless headset that promises to bring you the “superior Sony sound quality” and is being positioned as the perfect accessory to the Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia E4, and Xperia Z3 Compact.
You can use the headset and pair it with any Bluetooth enabled device like your smartphone or tablet or music player. The earbuds itself are ergonomic and lightweight, but the sound that goes through it is big. But since it is very discreet and will not irritate your ears, you can actually wear it the whole day if you want. You can also give your phone voice commands through the headset’s mic. Of course, you’ll also be able to make and receive calls and the headset’s echo, wind, and noise cancellation features makes calling wherever you are more convenient and less stressful.
Features of the Stereo Bluetooth Headset SBH70 include water resistant IP57, multipoint connectivity, NFC one touch and it even has smart memory metal so it remembers the shape of your ears, making it more comfortable the more you wear it. It has the basic controls on the headset itself, like power on/off, call and music key, as well as the volume key. It has a 125 mAh battery that can last you six hours of music streaming time.
In terms of features, there isn’t much difference with other usual headphones or earphones, except that this one is made by Sony of course. The product page doesn’t have a price set yet or information as to when it will be available. But the price set in Germany is around $85, so maybe we can expect the same price in the North American market. It’s available in black, white, blue, yellow, and pink.
