T-Mobile Software Updates Android 5.0 Lollipop

T-Mobile is busier than ever especially these few days leading to the Mobile World Congress 2015. Because new smartphones and tablets will be unveiled in Barcelona, it’s only right that the mobile carrier release software updates to current mobile devices par of its lineup before they become overshadowed by the yet-to-be-announced units. We’re certain though that T-Mobile will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy S6, thanks to a teaser recently shown off.

T-Mobile has a dedicated page for software updates and announcements. It was designed to provide subscribers the latest news on software improvements.T-Mobile admits that updating can be a long process because they have to work with the software developer and the device manufacturer. In this case, T-Mobile needs to partner with Google as developer of Android and companies like Samsung, Motorola, and HTC.

Software improvement process includes device manufacturer working with the carrier to finally cuztomize the given version of software, changes for the hardware, apps, and wireless radios. T-Mobile will provide updates on Manufacturer Development, T-Mobile Testing, or when the process has been completed already. Once update is ready, phone will receive a notification that says update is available and is ready for download.
