If you’re a true-blue digital native, you know that IFTTT (if this then that, if you want to spell it out) has made our lives a bit easier and has allowed users to concoct “recipes”, depending on the triggers that they want on mobile and desktop devices. Now the “Internet of Things glue” has released three new apps under the “Do” brand while also rebranding its own app, now known as just plain ole IF.

The three new apps will help you DO your tasks through a one-tap access so that you can actually take off a few seconds (or even minutes) to do other more complicated or more important things. The Do Button is a macro system where you can just have one shortcut for a task that normally takes several steps more. For example, if you need to keep track of where you go during the day and log them onto a Spreadsheet (for work purposes, of course, or if you’re just OCD about that), you can program that on the Do Button. You can then pin the Do Button to your homescreen for easier access.

The Do Camera, obviously has something to do with taking photos, as it creates a trigger action every time you would take a picture with a custom camera. You can either automatically email pictures to an app of your choice, like Dropbox, Drive, etc. If you need to keep track of your receipts and business cards, you can also set up a recipe that will save it to wherever you want whenever you take a picture of them. Do Note, which IFTTT calls a “command line to do anything”, has to do with anything text, like create events in Google Calendar, or write a new note on Evernote.

Of course there are a lot of other apps now that can do what IFTTT has been doing for years, but the simplicity and functionality of the original is still something we get back to always. The rebranded IF app, Do Button, Do Camera, and Do Note are all available on the Google Play Store.
