And all you need is a mobile device and your finger. Oh, and yes, a new arcade game called Draw Slasher. Think of it as Fruit Ninjas but with icky creatures to slash instead.
The main character in this game (that would be you) is called Hanzo, a ninja in training. However, his family gets kidnapped by the aforementioned creatures, which are actually Pirate Monkey Zombies. Now to get them back, he needs to defeat all these rodent-looking monsters, with the aid of his trusty blade and your jittery finger. The game has an actual story arc, so it’s not just hack and slash all the way. You can choose to play in Endless Arcade Survival or Gatekeeper mode, and there are also challenges along the way.
The game play controls are pretty intuitive. Just like with most slasher games, you just need to draw a line through the enemy to decapitate, decimate, and destroy your zombies. But every once in a while, you need to pinch the screen to use the Ninjutsu Techniques, which will be your superhuman effort against your family’s captors. Oh, and you need to tap the screen to run, because sometimes, that’s the best weapon.
