Samsung is working harder these days to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop to its latest smartphones and phone tablets. The next recipient of the sweet update is the Galaxy Note 4. Well, at least, for those who are in Poland. This is only the Android 5.0.1 but the South Korean giant is expected to release the latest version soon.
Android 5.0 for the Polish Galaxy Note 4 includes an enhanced TouchWiz user interface. It looks better than the KitKat version and boasts of an improved battery life, lockscreen notifications, faster performance. Of course, we can expect some Material Design elements as well.
This particular update is not yet available on Kies but OTA (over-the-air) notifications should be arriving albeit very slowly. If you live in Poland, don’t expect to receive the update in the next few days. You might have to wait for a few weeks or a month but at least you know your phablet is getting the sweet Lollipop taste.
Check if the update is ready by going to your phone’s Settings, choose About Phone, and then click on the Software updates menu. Click on the Check now button to see if software update is ready for download. If you can’t find it, it means Samsung has not released the update yet. Just wait for Samsung’s official release. It’s coming soon.
If let’s say, I had the SM-N910C bought in Vietnam, can I flash the Poland version onto my phone and not brick it; since they are all on N910C model too? I am downloading the Poland’s ROM from SAMMOBILE site now…will try it out as soon as I have it on my computer.
